Communitere’s Executive Director, Sam Bloch, arrived in Kathmandu the past Saturday and has been in a whirlwind of meetings with local and international organizations to discuss the current situation and get a realistic read on the needs of the community.
He has been gratified to find there is overwhelming support for a Communitere Resource Center that focuses on rebuilding and skills training and has found that the need for a workshop with tools that the local and international communities can use is something that predated the recent earthquake.
