It’s been a more exciting, chaotic and vibrant month at Nepal Communitere as we approach the end of 2020 and enroll the third batch of I-Cube companies. YAY! Our new batch of I-Cubers are here and ready to roll up their sleeves to tackle the pandemic and take their business to the next level through incubation!

In the spirit of transformation, we are elated to have Salonika Singh as our newest board member join the Nepal Communitere family starting October. We connected with Salonika back in 2018 when she was a jury member during our 2018 Kathmandu Mini Maker Faire. Since then we’ve been exploring how we can engage her more deeply in our work to develop meaningful ways to support female-led businesses around financial literacy and access to finance. We couldn’t be more excited to have Ms. Singh join our vision to strengthen Nepali startups!

Samanata has recently joined the Nepal Communitere team as our new ‘Program Officer” for our two new business incubation programs that we’ve recently launched.
Transforming Nepal’s Female Deputy Mayors – New Partnership with Women LEAD and The Asia Foundation
2020 has been a challenging year to say the least, but during this unpredictable time we at Nepal Communitere are discovering new partnerships to leverage our skills and assets in new and exciting ways. This month, we’re launching yet another new collaboration with Women LEAD and The Asia Foundation (TAF) to design a coaching program to build the leadership skills for Nepal’s female Deputy Mayors.
My transformative 3 years at Nepal Communitere!
I joined Nepal Communitere (NC) back in 2017, after I completed my MBA in Entrepreneurship from King’s College. Hard to believe that now in 2020, I am branching out from Communitere while still continuing my passion to work in the arena of business incubation and early stage entrepreneurship. I am heading to one of the development organizations as a Startup and Innovation Support Expert to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Province 1.
